Family correspondence, 1863 to 1890, concern Arizona topics and life on the Empire Ranch. Manuscripts are reminiscences of events and activities including an 1896 cattle drive to California, life at the Empire Ranch, history of the Pantano (La Cienega) stage station, and the history of the Total Wreck Mine.
